New Brunswick Rocks!
12.06.2009
Saturday night, the boys invaded Doll's Place just beyond the tracks, bringing their ecclectic collection of favorites and obscurities covering the old and the new. New tunes from the Kings of Leon including "Use Somebody" and "California Waiting" provided modern counterpoint to AlterEgo mainstays, "First I look at the Purse" (the Contours song popularized by the J. Geils Band) and Kennedy Honoree Springsteen's "10th Avenue Freezeout" at the top of the show.
Tables were cleared and the crowd was dancing till the wee hours.
Stay tuned for the return engagement.
